Most of my recent work has been in video which ranges from travelling alone collecting stories, to directing larger crews for higher end commercial productions. I also do editing, motion graphics and grading, and can deliver campaigns from pitch to final delivery.
I’ve worked at a variety of agencies pitching and executing multi-platform campaigns for brands like Holden, Red Bull and the Defence Force, with a particular focus on digital. I’ve worked at all levels from leading the initial pitch through to the gritty detail of final outputs.
My original training was in graphic design, and a love of all things typography and design gets into everything I do today whether it's a video or a pitch doc. I can't deny the love of a crisp beautifully printed book, the kind that's so well designed you have to smell it.
Photography was probably my first creative passion, starting as a youngster with an old SLR and too much time on my hands. These days I mainly enjoy making narrative photo essays to explore a single theme / issue, which seems to work best while travelling.
