I've mostly worked in video for the last seven years. Anything from pitching large scale ideas to Red Bull, to traveling solo with the camera kit for NGOs. I’ve directed large crews for high end commercial productions, but also do editing & colour grading on occasions.
I’ve worked at a variety of agencies pitching and executing multi-platform campaigns. Over the last few years I've delivered full scale campaigns as a boutique agency for clients like Nike, Bendigo Bank and Plan Australia.
My original training was in graphic design, and a love of typography and design still permeates everything I work on today. I can't deny the love of a crisp beautifully printed book, the kind that's so well designed you have to smell it.
Photography was probably my first creative passion, starting as a youngster with an old SLR and too much time on my hands. These days I mainly enjoy making narrative photo essays to explore a single theme / issue, which seems to work best while travelling.
