A year after travelling to Niger and Cameroon to create the 'Stop the Hunger' campaign with Manu Fieldel, the brief came in to create a follow up video with a particular focus on building child sponsorship. The target market broadly becomes about attracting Manu's loyal fan base built from his TV fame, so this piece is aimed at letting them see a different side to the friendly star. We spent the afternoon with Manu to discuss his emotional response to the trip, and I set up a couple of cameras / lights / mics to capture this one.
